2011 Eligible Players

The 2011 U.S. Senior Open will feature many of the game’s legendary players at Inverness the week of July 25th including above from left to right: Fred Couples, Tom Watson, Greg Norman, Fred Funk and Bruce Lietzke. Eligible to play at Inverness Club in 2011 include World Golf Hall of Fame members Greg Norman, Tom Watson, Ben Crenshaw, Hale Irwin, Tom Kite, Bernhard Langer, Larry Nelson and Nick Price. Together, this group has won 24 of golf’s professional major championships.

Other past major (The Masters, U.S. Open, British Open or PGA Championship) winners likely to compete in 2011 include Fred Couples, Paul Azinger, Bob Tway, Tom Lehman, Craig Stadler, Mark O’Meara, Jeff Sluman, Larry Mize, Fuzzy Zoeller, Ian Woosnam, Jerry Pate, Scott Simpson, Hal Sutton, Corey Pavin, Mark Calcavecchia and Lanny Wadkins.

Leading players from the 2009 Champions Tour who also are expected to play at Inverness in 2011 are Fred Funk, Loren Roberts, Peter Jacobsen, John Cook, Bruce Lietzke, Jay Haas, Eduardo Romero, Allen Doyle, Joey Sindelar, Mark McNulty, Brad Bryant and Andy Bean.
